Luke 10:1-24 "The Lord appointed other Seventy also"

We learn in Luke 10: 1-24 that the Lord appointed “other seventy” to help spread the gospel and take care of church matters. Why do we need the seventy? Christ answers this in verse two, “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few”. Throughout these this chapter we understand what the seventy are to do because Christ gives instructions. These instructions are clarified by Elder Boyd K. Packer, “Each of the Seventy has had conferred upon him the apostolic authority. … The Seventy go where the Twelve, limited by their number, cannot. Seventies are scattered across the world, as they were in the early days of the Church.” Another interesting thing I discovered was written in the Institute Manual, “The Seventy today are called to be “traveling ministers” (D&C 107:97), while deacons and teachers and elders are appointed to be “standing ministers unto the church” (D&C 84:111; 124:137). The Father always provides a way to reach all of His children.
It is amazing how there are witnesses in the Bible and modern day for the same things like having a seventy. In the sixth Article of Faith we learn that we follow the same things that we done in the “primitive church”.  This is confirmed when we hear and listen to the prophets and apostles.
The Seventy are part of the Priesthood and ordained in the Melchizedek Priesthood. We commonly know the seventy today as General Authorities and will usually have a General Authority come to visit each Stake and give an address. This is a very special event because General Authorities are given “apostolic authority” even though they are not actually ordained as apostles. However, we still know that their messages are true and from inspired by the Lord.
