Hebrews 13. Works of Righteousness
In Hebrews chapter 13 there are some very important principles we learn. First we are reminded to show “brotherly love”(verse 1) and treat strangers with kindness, helping them because we might also be helping angels. We are also told to “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them” (verse 3). Marriage is said to be “honourable” (verse 4) and we are not to covet but be content with what we have. “Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (verse 8). We are sanctified through the blood of Christ and can repent and are made clean through repentance. We are also told to obey those who have rule over us. Paul, in verse 18 asks for the people to pray for him and for other church leaders. We can also pray for our church leaders.
