I probably won't post much on here but it seemed I should be the one to do this one, so...
Initially, we thought our new cat was a boy due to direct observation of his "anatomy" (I'm sad to say I have researched this matter for a previous cat on the Internet). We may have not named the cat Bunker but the name seemed perfect in every way (white sand-colored paws and belly, love of golf balls, boy cat). Anyway, I thought the difference in the genitalia for cats was not readily apparent. However, it seems the pictures on the Internet were for differentiating between kittens, because the "anatomy" was rather small. We know this now because an orange cat has been following our cat most every time we have gone outside with Bunker. Out of curiosity, I happened to look at his "anatomy" once and was shocked at its relatively gargantuan size compared to what I had seen before! I couldn't believe just how much of a boy this cat was! So, the "anatomy" I thought to be initially on Bunker was then under question and needed a closer look. Bunker did not enjoy this, but we were able to confirm her true nature by direct examination. Also, it seems that she is likely a fully-fledged female since the boy cat has been rather forward and she does not have any surgical scars on the belly.
At first I thought we'd have to change the cat's name but after a few days I came to the conclusion that Bunker could be a girl name, too. But now we gotta be cautious that she doesn't start dating any boys out there!
Oh Dustin...this was a very nice job posting on the blog. :) Haha. it was fun to read the story after hearing about it from you :)
