I made a personal record!!! My previous record was 125.
We went to the Ostrich Festival- it was fun:) These birds are huge!
We watched one of the races- it was a chariot race. Before the race they cover the face of the ostrich.
We thought there was going to be a big collision at the turn but they made it!
We tried an ostrich burger, I didn't really like it, but it is apparently healthier than other meats.
cookies I made that tasted great and are easy! Here is the recipe:
Mint-topped Chocolate Cookies
1 package devils food cake mix
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tbs. water
Confectioners' sugar
40 chocolate-covered thin mints
1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, shortening, eggs and water. Shape into 1-in. balls; roll in confectioners' sugar.
2. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until slightly firm to the touch. Place a mint on each cookie; remove to wire racks to cool.
Yield: 40 cookies
I figured out my Cricut machine a bit more.
That looks way fun to go watch....ostrich racing. It's like in "prince of persia"....anyways, you look very pretty in these pictures and dustin looks....I don't know. But I love when you blog! And those cookies look super yummy! And your cake looks BEAUTIFUL! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this blog, it is so fun to see all the fun things you are doing!!! I could not believe the ostrich racing. Wow, that had to have been life changing for sure :) Scenes from Prince of Persia were coming back to me and I laughed a lot. the cakes look amazing! I'll have to start a blog here soon too, this is cool!
